    what Fashion Mags????????

I can't read a word of Italian!, and only very limited French. I like the two mags for the shoots/spreads, the clothes, and generally how they put outfits together.

    What do you think?

Chainstores are becoming so ridiculous these days. Firstly, they unashamedly copy and exploit every designer piece and trend they can. I'm okay with that, because I know the prices in chainstores are probably more accessible, but really, if they're going to copy they might as well do it well...

    what Fashion Mags????????

Vogue Italia is the most underated fashion magazine, it's definitely the most unique and inspirational. I also like Vogue Paris, because Carine Roitfeld is a brilliant woman. US Vogue is good, even great, when Anna Wintour is in the right frame of mind, otherwise, it's just as overated as...

    Skinnies vs. flares/bootlegs

Skinny jeans are the most flattering cut on me. They are a slim fit all the way down and thus doesn't add any bulk. Flares, on the otherhand, look hideous on me. They make me look fat and out of porportion. Plus, I don't know what I'd wear with them.

    Black's comeback

After a summer of that boho rubbish, I'm actually relieved to see a return of neutrals gracing our streets and shops. I know what you mean, though. Too much black can be so depressing on a dreary winter's day.

    Looking for good winter skirts!

I love the shape of this skirt - a little different, but so versatile at the same time. I can imagine wearing it with an oversized sweater, or a long tweed cardigan in a bright colour, or hoisted higher on the waist cinched with a skinny belt and a simple tank tucked in, or with a pretty blouse...

Hairdressers: How many times per year?

I get a trim every month and a cut + colour around four times a year. I like having soft ends. :shy:

I have combination skin - dry cheeks, relatively 'normal' t-zone. I used to get those annoying bumps on my forehead and scrubbing with bicarb worked for me, so I'm guessing it will also help with acne prone skin. Glad it works for you, steph@nie! My mum even scrubs with bicarb, haha.

If you don't eat well or exercise, no amount of supplements will make you healthy enough to prevent sickness.

I mix 2 parts cleanser to 1 part bicarb. You can use more or less depending on how sensitive your skin is. It works better on my skin than any other high-end scrub. I don't know how it works but it just does. :)

I've noticed an increasing number of fake Paddingtons floating around as well. It makes me an angry little girl when I see someone tainting the image of one of my favourite bags. Fakes are not cool.

I'd like to think that at this age and day girls are able to dress themselves tastefully and appropriately, no matter whether their clothes come from Gucci or a chain-store. I rather admire the girls that are able to put together stunning outfits from odd, inexpensive pieces found at the...

is it true that private school students tend to get a higher UAI than public schools?

I've known her since kindergarten. I know her throat was barely any worse than usual. hahaha! Very funny.

is it true that private school students tend to get a higher UAI than public schools?

You may not cheat personally, but many private schools make ridiculous allowances. Let me tell you what happened during the last set of hsc assessments. A friend of mine did not turn up for her assessments because of a 'scratchy throat'. Her mother rang up the school in the morning saying...

is it true that private school students tend to get a higher UAI than public schools?

Re: is it true that private school students tend to get a higher UAI than public scho But us rich kids don't need distinctions in uni. We enter the same industry as our parents so we're already ahead. I'm kidding. Have you heard the excuses kids make up to miss their assessments? The only...
