Actually I don't think it envened out. I think we still had a week less at least. I know that UNSW has 14 weeks of teaching while macq has 13, which actually means 12. It is also referred to as Club Macq because a some of the units (especially some humanties/media ones) have low teaching...

Well it's like the same at every uni...any student is able to join. Macq has quite a few events: first year law camp, harbour cruise, muls dinner (justice kirby as guest speaker in 2003), the law ball which sells out in a day, as well as smaller luncheons and drinks stuff. I don't know...

I prefer to have the tut and then the lecture in a week. That way you have the lecture and learn it for a few days (general plan anyways) and then have the tut early in the following week to clarify anything.

Tutes are less than 30 at macq...usually.

A couple of my friends after one semester satisfied the pre-req for 200-levels. So they did 2 x 200-level 4 pt units and a 100-level 3pt unit in the second semester. That way they did 11 credit pts and only 3 subjects.
