Just looking at the list of courses. I want to go to Sydney, so these are all at Sydney (easier to get to, the ski club has a lodge at Thredbo, etc :p).
In no particular order (when I do my prefs I'll obviously rank them from highest to lowest UAI req and then ditch the ones that I don't like...
That's a little old, I remember reading something on it in year 10. It might be worth-while pointing out that this doesn't affect the laws of physics because no matter is accelerated past the speed of light in any of these experiments. Those conducting the experiments acknowledge this. :)
So when they ask for an 'ionic equation' in the HSC, they really mean just a 'net ionic equation'? My teacher has said this to me from day one, but I have never fully believed him even though he is an HSC marker because all the text books include spectator ions in a lot of their ionic equations.
Maybe for you but for most schools that is not the case. One of our internal assessments is a prac, we've already done it, it was a motors and generators prac focussing on back emf worth 15%.
You guys seem to be doing all the same crap we're doing (and I emphasise the crap part).
We are doing, in order.
On Giant's Shoulders - (AOS)
Emma and Clueless - (Mod A)
John Donne (close analysis) - (Mod B) <-- Just started this now
Julius Caesar - (Mod C)
Yep, and the gap your assessment marks put between you and the ranks either side of you I think (or just one rank if you're first or last). The marks themselves mean nothing because some schools mark easier than others in internal assessments. They are only used to rank the students of a...
Yep, the top Cosmo student was from Ruse.
If you top your grade and then get the top mark in the HSC exam, the quality of the rest of your year will neither advantage or disadvantage you, right? Like if you go to a crap school but come first and then get the top HSC exam mark, the crappiness...
Well, I was surprised by them.

Example. Percentage of candidature who got band 6 for that course:
Biology: 2.33%
Chemistry: 8.14%
Geography: 8.66%
Mathematics 2u: 18.63%
I know the percentage of band 6 doesn't...
[Personally, I have no problem with what's happened, they weren't my threads. I just couldn't help pointing out what I did, and MinAi explained why very well].
Yeah, I've got this thing where pref. 1 will be 99.6, pref 2 (which will lead to pref 1 in a year hopefully) at 97. Even though 99.6 is highly unlikely (even if I'm optimistic), a low 99 would still be cool just for my own personal satisfaction.
