I have received an offer to B Arts/B Business and Commerce (Marketing) at UWS. I only got offered Arts at UNSW. I plan to major in Psychology for Arts.
UNSW has a Psychological Science degree which allows students to also major in Marketing. I doubt I can get into their Science/Commerce...
Okay, don't just read the title and think "What a dumb question. Of course UNSW!". So here's the deal:
I have an interest in both Marketing and Psychology (they're related any way) so I decided to apply to UWS and UNSW - UWS has a double degree (B Arts/B Business and Commerce) and for UNSW...
So back in Year 12, I screwed up my marks and got an ATAR which was just sufficient for me to get into UWS. I did a course I didn't entirely enjoy and got a GPA of 4.125 (didn't fail anything) and the following STAT results:
STAT Multiple Choice:
Verbal STAT Score - 142 (30.4 percentile...
I'm interested in either Psychology at UWS or MQ (UNSW might be too difficult) or Arts/Education at UNSW.
If I were to study Visual Communication for a year, what GPA would I need to maintain in order to be considered? Has anyone here successfully transferred into another university from UWS...
I didn't get the required ATAR to study the course(s) I wanted to so I decided to enrol in B Visual Communication at UWS for a year before trying to transfer.
My goal is to be able to transfer into the B Psychology at UWS (or even better, MQ or UNSW) or the B Arts/Education at UNSW.
How hard...
My ATAR is REALLY bad - it's in the 50's and I believe I can JUST make it into UWS' B Design course with the bonuses (which I've got no genuine interest in). The course is at their Penrith Campus (it'd take over 2 hours travel to get there for me).
If I wanted to study Education at UNSW or...
So the ATAR I've got is way below the minimum cut-offs for every uni (including UWS unfortunately). I think it MAY still be possible for me to get into UWS with the bonuses however.
My question is if I were to do B Design at UWS (something unrelated), for example and I wanted to transfer to B...
Like most other Year 12s, I'm still looking for a part time/casual job. How can I increase my chances? Especially for someone who has never worked before.
I want to work at places like:
Coles/Woolies
Dick Smith
BIG W/Kmart
Target
Optus Stores
MYER
What are the standards for people our age...
My marks over the past year hasn't been "up there". The Trials have put me off from being able to succeed in the final exams.
These are my marks:
Studies of Religion II - 52 (avg. 71) 25/26
Standard English - 50 (avg. 44) 32/96
Biology - 56 (avg 59) 20/39
Business Studies - 58 (avg. 71) 36/45...
Studies of Religion II is my worst subject and I can't drop if because I won't have enough units.
So my only choice now is to keep working hard on it to avoid getting scaled down at the least.
For those who are experienced in it or have done this course, how do you study for it? The details in...
I don't really get the task. In te first part, we have to make an 'Interview sheet' for a Realty, who wants to start a new computerised system for managing rental properties.
It is a database task which will contain a series of tables to manage data on Properties, Owners, Rent and Tenants.

I've purchased study guides for all the subjects I am completing for my HSC and starting to wonder if they can even help me with my studying.
I had a closer look at my copy of "Excel HSC Studies of Religion I & II" and realised the information isn't as in-depth as the information our teacher...
Today, I've made the decision to move out of 2U General Mathematics, which I'm not good at, leaving me with 10 Units in my HSC. Am I running any risks with 10 Units if I don't do very well in my other subjects and because of how they may scale me?
I do:
2U English (Standard)
2U Studies of...
