Johnstan you willing to pay for M.G's Chem HSC paper photocopy? From the exam day? Like since he SR'ed, we could have an idea of how to answer questions perfectly etc.
Cost is $47.50 but other people are paying so cost should be split.

Just remember that USyd considers your ATAR + WAM for transfer into Law etc.
UNSW only considers WAM.
Like I'll probs, despite working my hardest, scrape 98-99 so won't apply for USyd + not interested in USyd.

MAY transfer to Comm/Law @ UNSW 2nd year. Depends on WAM, interest etc.
Don't want USyd law since Comm would be the focal part of my degree anyway (future career choices etc.) and I'd prefer UNSW Comm.

Yes, but even now, the better English students have contingency plans - preparing a few quotes and techniques for each other speech along with your prepared essay, so there's no way the BOS can get around that.
And I believe that creative writing should DEFINITELY be open to rote learning.

But in short, there's 2 papers. One is 45 marks. Other 60 marks.
The 2 hour long 45 mark paper is based on concept of belonging and has a 15 mark short answer/unseen text section, a 15 mark stimulus based creative...
I think that having that in university is enough right? Where there's complete independence in terms of course choice etc.
E.g. how many 99+ers do you see doing humanities, and how many do you see doing 4U maths, physics, chemistry?
This isn't simply because the 4u maths, phys, chem students...
That's why it's a culture of doing Phys/Chem despite not necessarily being all that natural in them, and working your arse off and doing well e.g. a state ranker last year mainly regurgitated the textbook so hey, it works.
