I strongly disagree. Ive met about 4 baulko kids at parties from this year's HSC, and they do two things: smoke weed, and go to gym.
now obviously those 4 is not representative of the whole grade, but I think baulko is going to have a strong tail, and I think 2nd is very unlikey.
For Chem and Maths I do one past paper/trial a week. Then I spend about 3 hours on each, analysing the time I took to do each question, where I dropped marks, what I could improve on and then I add all these notes to my notes. They are getting pretty big :)
That is true, but remember your school might not tell you that you are going to be doing an independant trial, and also most trials which use the independant paper are a collaboration of questions rather all from the same trial.

My school is ranked 8th and I did extension 1 maths in year 11, and they KICKED ME OUT for year 12.

To be fair I sucked in year 11, but nobody tries that hard in year 11 anyway, so my plan to go all out in year 12 failed when they kicked me out...
Im doing the same texts as you and I gotta say I HATED speeches and Skrzynecki, modula A was alright (but hard), and I really liked Julius Caesar.
Also I think advanced english sucks, but english extension is my favourite subject, I think the advanced course is shit, but english as a subject is...
I ask this because I would rather ignore the essay questions from last year, particularly in modern history and english advanced.
Does anyone know of an instance where they have assessed the same essay question twice in a row?
I find it hard to believe that in a 4 year rotation or...
