I didn't manage to get into UTS despite having 2 points under ATAR+BP.
Does anyone know why B.Business / B.Sci (84.9) has a lower atar cut-off than the regular B.Business (90)?

What's this meant to mean then?
I'm guessing it means that you don't need the 36 months.
Will only talk about the subjects I did:
Adv English - didn't use any textbooks, only the texts. However if information about your text is scarce online I might consider getting a textbook that specialises in the analysis of the text.
Ext Maths & Maths - Terry Lee, Cambridge, and Past Papers.
Thinking too narrowly towards Commerce has possibly made me regret it, as I have been looking at Applied Finance double degree with Eco or Comm (Prof Accg.) as options, with comfortable 88 ATAR cut-offs.
The two degrees look fairly similar, with Eco looking like it studies more macroeconomics...
By the "two" universities I'll be assuming UNSW/USYD OR MacQ. My original comparison was between App Finance vs Comm with an Accounting major for Macquarie. Now thinking I probably would go for UNSW as well, but in consideration of distance (which I should've included in the original), MacQ is...
Sorry mods if this isn't allowed.
As seen on the page and as Jan 18 becomes closer with less than a month left to finish up our preferences, many to-be uni students are questioning their degree choices, including me :P.
So I thought it was a good idea to make an all-in-one thread. I...
I've received and just accepted BComm at Macquarie University and I have a few questions.
Doing some research, I've been reassured that I still have the same chances in the main round for other offers. I have also heard that I can simply unenrol if I get a better offer, but it might be a...
IIRC you do implicit differentiation on the ellipse, which allows you to find the gradients of the tangent to the ellipse.
The line's gradient is -2/3, so from differentiating the equation of the ellipse, you are able to find dy/dx which = -2/3. Go from there.
I'm not entirely sure though.
Hey guys,
Couldn't make the 90 cut sadly, but comfortably guaranteed for Macquarie Commerce as I have an offer lined up right now.
I've always been considering UNSW Commerce but I'm not sure whether I should:
1. Take MacQ Comm Offer and externally transfer later if I really wanted to.
2...
Hey guys, I've heard that you can still change your preferences after receival of ATAR, is that for the January round?
How relevant are the rounds before that e.g. November 11?
