So I just had two exams in the first day of HSC YAY LIFE,
anyone else in the same boat?
there were 5 people at my school who did as well.
I'm a little screwed for english now methinks!
Section one threw me too, It was soo not what I had prepared for, but yeah basically just used the words mentioned in the question throughout my usual generic essay and with a few tweaks it was answering the question but yeah I doubt I did it how they wanted it haha. Section two Verbatim was...
True,
I've basically looked at past papers and my money is on the final section being on 19th and 20th century archaeologists or Ethical issues. Technology was last year so although study it don't worry to much.
It also helps when you learn it to get your breathing in sync with certain lines, especially with Silent Disco, and actions, because the lines are quite poetic it's pretty easy to get down. But seriously go through and put a tick wherever you should have a breath and it will make it sooo much...
well there is a problem with memorising essays, you can memorise a generic structure with your quotes and features and what not but not a full essay,as even if you think you can adapt it, like I did for trials, you get lost in simply writing your essay as you had practised it. Same with...
I don't know about you guys, but History and memory confused me as an English topic enough without having to also work in the new website.
How is everyone else dealing with this obscure topic?
I feel I am avoiding a practice essay because of this.
It's my biggest downfall!
The way I have gathered it in my head is this, Every student does their Internal Exams and end's up with a Rank. Now! The Marks you got to get this rank basically don't mean anything! WHY you may ask? Because you get whatever raw mark you got in the HSC as your HSC Mark
so 50%= your raw HSC Mark...
haha definitely, It was the top one and I didn't realise everyone had their own! attempted studying has obviously killed all my logic :D
anyway I better stop flooding up your post!
Sorry, I thought it was one of those threads where everyone posts?
didn't mean to offend anyone by taking up their space,
I apologize SteveTX if you didn't want anyone else posting.
Bachelor of Commerce/ Arts ( with a major in theatre and performance) my aim is 94, as thats what I need to get in with my Elite performers bonus points, the course is 96.7
:D
fingers crossed!!
well this seem's interesting okay at the moment I am:
11/127 English Adv.
3/47 General Maths
3/40ish Ancient History
2/30 Business Studies
20/67 Drama ( but at a 89% avg.)
?/5 for History Extension, we haven't gotten marks from major work yet.
Oh and the school is around 90-100.
Re: 回覆: HSC Timetable Fail
I'm just glad I dropped Legal, otherwise I'd have two sets of exams on the same day, on my first day ( Drama and Business) and last ( His X and Legal)
but the timetable this year is shitttttt.
If Business and Drama are actually on the same day I will shoot someone.Otherwise it's okayish:

Drama - 17th October
English Advanced Paper 1 - 18th October
English Advanced Paper 2 - 19th October
General...
