I had the same doubts as you in year 11 & I ended up sticking with Advanced too. I always envy the people who leave things last minute and get top marks! But, just think... What mark would you have got if you didn't prepare. Usually a few days before my exam, I take my essay copy and make...
I don't know about what university you're looking at but at UOW they have a commerce degree with an events management major. With this degree you also gain a diploma of Event Management from TAFE.
Have a look: http://www.uow.edu.au/handbook/yr2014/ug/H13005930.html
I do CAFS and I love it. I wouldn't say it's hard, however; there is a lot of content. The subject itself is very interesting and enjoyable.

I feel bombarded with assessment tasks too. I suppose it will be better in the long run because they will be out of the way and you'll have more time to focus and study on the trials.

All I can really say is maintain consistent throughout the year e.g. Do summaries weekly - they're a huge timesaver at exam time! It's good to work on little bits of a subject at a time, rather than prolonging it over a whole day. On the other hand, don't overwork yourself and ensure you find...
It sounds like you have nothing to worry about! What was your IRP on? I just handed mine in last Friday, yay! I am in the 90's too! :)

I am using Nelson Community and Family Studies mainly. I have the excel study guide too. Googling CAFS textbooks is good too - I found Pearsons and Exploring CAFS online in PDF format. Have you done your IRP yet? How'd you go? What are your marks in CAFS like? :)

Hey :) I do CAFS as well and I understand it can be hard to study due to all the content. I study by doing both notes and past papers. Throughout the term, I summarise my notes by using the textbook, for example. This is a life saver closer to exam time. Might not work for you but use but print...
People from my school did 5.2 in year 10 struggled in year 11. Maybe try 2U for a few weeks and see how you go? I did 5.3 maths and then towards the end I studied some 2U concepts, too hard for me. The maths you're doing now would be similar to general.

You could maybe compare different generations of their perception of youth in the work force e.g. Many older people perceive "young kids" as incompetent at their jobs if working at fast food for example.

I don't know if my opinion counts because I don't go to a private/catholic school... However, I believe Religion shouldn't be compulsory. I know religion may not be everyone's best subject and they may not get good marks and ranks because they're not interested or find it difficult. I also find...
