Then no one should ever do Med Science because you can do the same thing in a normal Science degree and have more choice on majors. My friends from USYD Med Sci told me at one stage they were not getting majors because they weren't fulfilling the credit requirements which caused issues when they...
I'm just quoting the study above whether it is truly indicative I am not sure. I think UMAT tutoring does help to a degree but that degree varies between students. Personally, I found Medentry probably did help in my preparation for certain questions and for time management.
From my experience...
Also a recent study showed that you only seemed to improve on S3 by doing courses. There was no significant difference in marks by students who completed courses in S1 and S2. This was why S3 was changed dramatically last year which threw a lot of students.
Yeh that's what I intend to do. Was going to take 1/2 year - 1 year off during residency and see how things progress. Who knows what might change in that time. Life lesson; things you are certain of now may not be the same in the future.

Nope. I would have preferred a corporate role which still interacts with clients or I want to start my own business. If I wanted to work for someone else it would want to find work in a newly founded company that is making an active impact on the world through progressive thinking. It would...

If you want to pursue OMS it is best to do dentistry first then medicine. The flexibility of a dentist means you can both study and work at the same time which is almost impossible the other way around.
Both are equally as competitive to get jobs now so it doesn't make a huge difference but...
I thought GAMSAT was much harder than the UMAT. I've done both. I'd take UMAT over GAMSAT despite the fact I performed better in GAMSAT.
GAMSAT section 1 was almost like reading another language. Yes you can study for GAMSAT more than UMAT but there is so much information you won't be able...
You essentially reapply and you go through the hoops of UMAT and interview just like what you are doing this year. So you can choose what you want to study and get a high GPA.
We had new 17 admissions in 1 day on Thursday and we literally did a ward round around ED department because basically all of ED beds were occupied by Geris patients. Due to the aging population and how good we are at keeping people alive you often see a lot of representations of sick patients...
I thought I would choose two lucky people early as I am going to be destroyed next week due to my workload. I have pmed the two chosen students. Good luck to the rest of you!
