So I have to design an experiment to demonstrate magnetic levitation. However, how do I explain the results obtained using a type II superconductor? And how do I hypothesise about the physics behind this?
Assessment on Warragamba dam, anyone got any clue as to what we will be tested (Apparently we answer questions on the day of the excursion)?
Makes up ~20% of total assessment... wot
Got no clue where I'm going with Hamlet. Been doing loads of research on themes and perspectives etc
Then I turn to past HSC Qs and find there's no relevancy between at least 3/4 questions (Basically, A LOT to cover and not sure whether its worth investing time to memorise every theme with...
I'd like to know both the math and physics in explaining how cooper pairs come to be (bosons). Some papers state that the exclusion principle is overcome by the coupling of electrons through the exchange of phonons, if so, how does that actually explain what is happening at the quantum level...
Alrighty, so I understand the predictions made by classical physics, but I'd like to know how everything ties in together. I'm interested in the math, derivations etc. of say the gas laws and the temperature regulation of distribution of energy as well as Planck's quantisation theory and his...
Any engineering tutors out there?
A buddy of mine looking to state rank (extremely motivated, but lack of guidance as school rank is quite low)
Leave a comment below if you know or are tutoring engineering studies

Anyone have the papers/solutions to JR Term 1/2 papers from any of the years between 2001-2014?
Came across some good questions that I've never seen in other school trials/HSC :O
Q: If you choose an answer to this question at random, what is the probability that you will be correct?
A: 25%
B: 50%
C: 0%
D: 25%
(Provide a reason if you wish)
How to disable rep (I've read http://community.boredofstudies.org/faq.php?faq=vb3_user_profile, can't find "Edit Options")
I have no interests in any Industry and its compulsory, wot?
Sometimes, I forget which states to use.
Apparently (from a lecturer at UNSW) if I mess up just a single state, my entire equation becomes invalid and thus losing all the marks allocated to a correct equation
So, should I just leave the states out if i'm unsure or should i go back and rote the...
So I'm doing trial papers atm, and very few have answers and/or marking guidelines
What to do?
(I did most from THSC, OneDrive and a few other websites)
So my first term exams for 4U,3U and 2U maths is right around the corner.
Since there's hardly any content, it makes it hard to find relevant past papers to grind, and the ones that I do find only have very simplistic questions.
Just wondering what's the best strat going in for first terms. :D
First and foremost, I've received the following marks for my preliminary year (School rank ~300)
(Out of whole cohort)
Eng Adv: 7th
Maths 2U: 1st
Maths 3U: 1st
Physics: 1st
Chemistry: 3rd
Economics: 2nd
(Also doing 4U maths in year 12)
So yeah, I'm gonna go for a state rank(s) but...
