I had some trouble with this - my parents didn't really want me to do it in the first place. But it was my decision, and I took it, and am glad I did. But its still niggling at the back of my mind if I'd be better off with a really good 2u unit mark, than a bad 4u.
lol. Its not bad until your school gets reviewed because of how far you dropped... But the good thing about dropping to the 600's is that we can only improve on last year :]
lol I'm pretty sure the way I learn is just fine - without tutoring. Tutoring doesn't always equal success. Actually putting in effort so you don't need tutoring seems to be the way to go (as well as being cheaper)
Apparently our English teachers just read a shit ton of papers from the internet and go browsing, so they know when something suspicious crops up. Oh, the joys of an under-funded public school...
I have no idea. Wish we were actually taught all of this stuff. I tried to tell him, but he just said "I'm sure you've learnt it but have just forgotten it". And I'm pretty sure I'm looking at a fail :\
If you intend to study, nothing can take away a band 6. Whatever your HSC mark is, is yours to keep. The aligning only comes in with the assessment mark according to your rank. So just concentrate on beating those in front of you ;)
did :)
But yeah, I hated Motors and Generators. Mainly because the boys started having massive discussions about cars and engines and things I have absolutely no interest in. But I LOVE Space. Best topic ever
My school is the same. I dont know if its public schools? Cause around my area its only private or selective that have restrictions on who can do a class
Yeah but the thing is if we didn't have soldiers overseas, and something caused them to invade/attack Australia everyone would be up the government for not seeing the risk and working to stop it before it reaches our shores.
Yeah, but thats not just a soldiers only job. You act like they all want to go overseas to murder everyone, when the intentions are there to actually help people. Not just protecting Australia, but to protect civilians of those countries and to help the communities rebuild and recover.
im kinda shocked you all have such low opinions of soldiers. At least give them some respect - a lot of them don't just kill people, but are given the job of protecting the citizens, and rebuilding the country. And also Australian soldiers aren't American soldiers. Mass murder of civilians is...
I'm going to the chemistry and MX2 ones. Don't know whether it is worth it, but may as well give it a go. Like dad says - they didn't pay for me to go to private school, so this is quite cheap in comparison. Plus, it means I get to come to Sydney to do some shopping :)
depends on how hard the test is really - my teacher loves to make them impossible, then apologizes after he has to do the solutions. He said he didn't expect it to take so long lol
