Re: The Official Football Thread
Maybe money does buy you wins. Liverpool excused.
Though it's Europa League for Chelski unless you actually win the UCL.
Yeah won't be happening.
Re: The Official Football Thread
What's more funny is that every highlights video I go to some butthurt Barcelona supporter (if such things exist) is calling for offside.
Clearly they do not know the rules of football to be watching such a huge game.
It's a harmless discussion between two knowledgeable people. What do you mean serious? :s
If you can't seem to take that in you shouldn't be on a forum such as this.
Russian? Good luck with that.
Lol I knew you were half Korean OzKo. Sandara Park DP pretty much highlights your inner Koreaness. So you don't hang with Koreans but listen to Kpop? Haha dude ...
Well firstly Koreans likewise with many Japanese tend to be highly proud and overtly nationalistic (as you may now World Cup 2002)...
True that. To some extent though (Australian born Korean here).
You have to realise when you first migrate to another country; where you were once the majority population but now become part of the minority of ethnic groups within that new country, you have no choice really as a first wave...
Re: The Official Football Thread
Lol Manure oh how I love hearing that phrase be tossed around by Arsenal supporters and alike.
Sports Direct Arena FC is doing quite well I'd doubt Tottenham will catch you guys in 4th place. The French signings have definitely worked for you guys this season...
Re: The Official Football Thread
Lol why do I seem to find threads like these so late?
As a United supporter must say that was terrible defending in the 2nd half. Letting go of 3 points like that. SMH.
Though it does make things interesting for a neutral supporter. I still reckon we got the...
I feel there's more than enough content said on this thread to write an essay on belonging to one's culture.
Not that I would want to go back to the mess that is the HSC. ;)
Yea i'm Korean! lol thought you'd be able to catch that when I said I was fluent to some extent haha.
Mandarin is a hard language though in terms of writing and speaking I heard.
Well if you are pretty serious in learning Korean and becoming fluent I can always help out if you need anything...
Sounds like you're a pretty good speaker! Learning a new language is hard though forgot all my Italian from Yr 8 that I learnt :( Have you thought about learning Japanese? Since that is the most popular language to learn seemingly these days for Asian students (wait are you Asian? lol my bad).
Don't worry we don't know each other lol but I've seen you around on FB on friend's status' and such. Got three mutuals lol.
Any luck with finding students? Pretty good rates in my opinion but you are only a first year though so good logic there.
Oh yeah thanks for the rep last time too.
