What about higher assessment weightings on tutorial participation? I've heard more than one person complaining about class participation so was wondering whether, in the future/for other subjects, that should be taken into account.

Hey guys,
Is FINS1612 or FINS1613 better for semester 1? I'm looking to end up doing 1 of the two in the first semester and the other one in the second semester. Would you recommend FINS1612 then FINS1613 or 1613 then 1612? (in terms of content, lecturer, weighting etc.) Hoping to major in...
For some reason the link currently doesn't work so I'll just post the question here instead of attempting to Google scraps of information to piece together. (Especially since you seem to be particular knowledgeable about this [emoji14])
Is it recommended (by past and current students) to do 3...
Will it really take that long to pay off your loans?
I mean, if you graduate with a grad position and are earning ~60k. Your degree (under the abolished scheme) costs ~100K.
Couldn't you live on approximately 30k a year and use the other 30K to pay off your degree? Wouldn't that take only about...
Currently am searching around, but I wonder if you could direct me to some more links? (The ones I'm finding give quite vague answers)

Likewise, also have a few questions to ask.
I've talked to several commerce students and they've mentioned the other desirable graduate job aside from investment banking was management consulting. Does management consulting offer the same breadth and exit opportunities that Jinx mentioned IB...
UNSW is introducing the LAT for their 2017 law entry. Pretty sure it also includes those wanting to transfer into law. http://www.law.unsw.edu.au/future-students/undergraduate/law-admission-test-lat
If you're not good with these kind of stuff, perhaps try and transfer within USYD.
It's pretty thick. Lol- have you read it?
Asking for some insights of past students on ~how~ to potentially get 2 or more offers from different unis. Would rather have choices.
Hey guys,
Really confused about how UAC works now that the HSC business is over (ahaha). One of my friends told me that you can only accept one offer per round- but then I hear of people who've had 2 or more offers to choose from. How does this all work? And also, for interview courses (such...
Not necessarily.
Personally, I found the biggest blockade in writing English essays, or even English in general, was that students (particularly past, salty ones) tend to over-dramatize its difficulty. (You'll find quite a few on BOS) A thesis need not to be something as dramatic as to...
Following on from what lastofus said (epic name btw); usually this 'definition' is a short statement about the characteristics and/or consequences of discovery that you're exploring in your essay. This can be your thesis, an expansion of your thesis or a contextual statement preceding your...
I think Riley also has a workbook.
You can start scamming stats off your classmates after trials :P My teacher actually gave me a sheet, which was pretty neat- your teacher might do the same.
