No. I personally believe that you should save your electives till you have hard semesters.
Doing 3 300 level units can be eased with the elective, rather than having to do 4 300 level units in one sem.
Doing AFAS200 atm over summer. I wanted to do an extra unit because in semester two im only doing three units. I'm stressed about internships and the applications for most open in sem2. Thus, I am only doing three units so that I have a lot of time to apply to heaps of things and smash out...
Unit Code: ACCG224
Year and Semester Taken: 2018 S2
Lecturer:
Workload: High
Difficulty: Hard
Stay on top of lectures, tute homework takes about 2-3 hours a week and its still likely you will make mistakes in it. It gets pretty hard early on, but it gets a bit easier after the class test.
keen to do my classes, after 4 semesters I've finally sort of figured out what I do and don't like in a timetable. This sem for me has been awful but i'm learning from my mistakes.
You can't leave in the first hour or in the last 15 minutes if I remember correctly. They will tell you this as well and I think its on the coversheet of the exam?
ECON241 was a lot easier than I thought it would be. They pretty much copied the sample paper word for word, just changed a few numbers.
ACCG224 was a pretty fair exam (as most accounting exams are), nothing that I wasn't expecting. Again it was pretty similar to the sample papers but I choked...
I lost so many marks in the assignment for things I didnt understand. Like I got 4/10 for question 1 somehow even though I got the right answers?? But then for a super hard question like q9 I got 9/10. I'm so confused.
Well I'm going to jakarta!
On a sadder note, I think i'm gonna fail ECON241 :/ It will be close, can't imagine getting over like 53/54. Do you think they scale that unit? If not, I'm in a lot of trouble.
im doing s3 as well for the same reason, doing only 3 subjects sem 2 next year because thats when im gonna be applying for internships and hopefully going to lots of assessment centres/interviews etc
