tbh at the beginning of yr 11 i thought my chem teacher was shit because he talks like a fob. but i started to change my attitude and stopped complaining all the time because it was pointless and found out he wasnt too bad if u put in some effort. so in ur case, maybe your exaggerating it a bit...

99.4 atar is no way a low atar...tbh i think ur the ignorant one. also, i know plenty of ppl who never attended preuni and have received very high ATAR's, including 99.95. IMO preuni = waste of time/money and from this thread it seems that they advertise results of students and try to take...

or the lack of posts maybe because not many primary students go on this forum. or ppl dont care.

i think u cud also equate real and imaginary parts but the way shaon did it was quick and id definitely miss that in an exam.

wud an 85 umat in combo with 97-98 atar be likely to get accepted? if so...getting into uws seems much easier than into unsw or usyd.

personally, id drop bio and switch to eco.

lol i noe how u feel....iv got maths for 4 periods on a tuesday. but that's only once a fortnight. =( man ppl at my school have 27 frees ... but that's because they accelerated chem :O

engineering, acturial studies, psychology, advanced science/maths or med sci. so many options. but if i get into med, it'll be med all the way :P

+1 my parents are pretty similar as well...and like ninety percent im aiming for 99+

yea...they call it a 'fast forward' course...so we can get ahead of others and not have to come like 6hrs every week during the school term where ill have to do school work and assessment tasks.

yea but we did it again to revise....now iv finishd both mod 1 and 2 for chem and physics. just need to keep revising the notes i got.

i want to do combined med at usyd but that's unlikely (need 99.95 atar). So my second preference is UNSW med ... if not then UWS med.
