Business is easier (a lot of it is common sense), but I would recommend you do biology (it's more interesting imo).
If you wan to see the exam structure, look at the 2012 HSC exams for both subjects. Biology has 20 mcqs, short answers and 2-3 (including the option) long responses which are...
When you add water to water (I'm assuming this is what you're trying to say), it self ionises.
H2O + H2O --> H3O+ + OH-
In water, pH = pOH
If water is neutral i.e. a pH of 7, then [H+] = 10^-7
Now pOH.
pOH = 14 - pH = 7
so [OH-] = 10^-7
[H+] = [OH-]
Even if you add more water, [H+] will...
Russia; I'm hoping for power struggle between Trotsky and Stalin or Soviet state under Stalin to be one of the options.
Conflict in Europe; may be something from End of Conflict
Yeah, and you'll have to do better in your other subjects to achieve 95.
But, seriously.
Don't think about these things now. Stop worrying and start believing in yourself. Work hard next year and try to achieve high ranks, that's the only thing that should be on your mind.
Advanced Eng - 88
Biology - 90
Chemistry - 87
2U Maths - 92
Ancient History - 90
These are the approximte HSC marks that might get you just above 95. But obviously if you achieve a higher mark in one subject and a lower mark in another (chem: 90 and english: 85), you can still achieve 95.
Yeah. These are the main things I can think of from prelim chem that you would need for HSC:
- the different types of bonds (intermolecular and intramolecular - including hydrogen bonding, dipoole-dipole, dispersion)
- polarity (polar and non-polar molecules / like dissolves like)
- solubility...
Like others have said, rest.
If you really want to do something, read books (not prescribed texts for English - books that you would actually want to read).
Other than that, don't do anything. Take a break from year 11 and start with a fresh mind for year 12.
Don't do absolutely nothing, you might start to forget things if you don't revise. Even just reading your notes and doing a paper a week is better than doing nothing.
