Also want to know, is there is a considerable advantage in doing BE ME Electrical? Why is the cut-off a 96 ATAR when one can just go on to a masters after they finish their BE?
Slightly off topic but one more question: Is taking engineering/commerce a good idea? I've read on this site that...
Haha, okay thanks for your input again nightweaver. I'm seriously considering the degree, only thing I'm scared of is absolutely hating the subs which I hope doesn't happen.
I've heard if you get an ATAR of 93+ for GWS students or 95+ for non-GWS and take the mentioned pathway into medicine then all you need to worry about is your UMAT. They check whether you've got said ATAR and if you do they look at your UMAT, regardless of GPA. If you don't they look at your GPA...
Thanks for your response, it is greatly appreciated. Naturally, I find myself tending more towards engineering/science fields since I somewhat know what I'm heading towards even though I am interested in how money works etc. When you made the final decision to do this course, how were you sure...
Hi, I've just completed my HSC and am now contemplating whether or not this degree would be a good choice. I enjoy maths and this degree is obviously very maths intense. Would this degree be a good idea though if I've done no business/economics subjects in high school?
Hey there, just a question. In the MX2 HSC exam, for the probability question my final answer was in a weird form: 1-(8C0)[1-(0.7)^4]^8-(8C1)[(0.7)^4]*[1-(0.7)^4]^7-(8C2)[(0.7)^4]*[(0.7)^4]*[1-(0.7)^4]^6. Will I lose marks for this?
Also, could a 93 raw mark potentially translate to a 99...

Also, could a 93 raw mark potentially translate to a 99 aligned mark?
