It's the region that your final HSC subject mark lies in (that is, the average of both aligned internal and external marks).
For two unit courses, there are 6 bands.
Band 6: 90+
Band 5: 80-89
Band 4: 70-79
etc
For extension courses, there are four "E" bands. I don't know the mark range for...
Research it yourself. Look at last year's estimate posts, then look at what people actually got for their UAI. Most reasonable guesses were off by ~3 maximum.

How do you spend your breaks? I'm assuming a majority of you only have around an hour to spend for each break, so what do you do?
For me, I just play the computer a bit. I'm thinking of setting up my punching bag for some exercise though.
