yeah it really depends, I've gotten 2 years through an actuarial degree without even bringing a pen to the lectures lol. (all of our content is online + all the learning is done through the comprehensive lecture notes and tutorials)
omg is this THE richard buckland. i'm an actuarial + comp sci student at macquarie and I've watched a few of your lectures on youtube. keep up the great work.
You're making the mistake of assuming raw marks = SNG. There's a secret scaling process that goes on after the raw marks of all the subjects are attained, so just because you seem to be going better in one doesn't necessarily mean that you will get a higher SNG for that subject.
I've heard that 252 is a more mathematical version of 253 that is meant to bridge the gap between the 200 and 300 level finance units. I didn't find the maths in the subject difficult, but keep in mind I'm doing an actuarial degree so I'm meant to be decent at maths. The final exam was mostly...
As far as I know 252 is a more mathematical version of 253, with the purpose of bridging the diffculty gap between the 2nd and 3rd year units. source: I did 252 last sem,
It's meant to be 9067 not 9057 :P
Alternatively you can work in quarters rather than years.
4.6% p.a. compounded quarterly = 1.15% per quarter effective (dividing by 4).
PV = 9067 (v^-16 + v^-32 + v^-48 + v^-64) @ 1.15%
PV = 9,067[(1.15)^-16 + (1.15)^-32 + (1.15)^-48 + (1.15)^-64]
You need to listen to some good deathcore. The vocals are amazing - as are the breakdowns.

For the econ111 and econ110 book just get the newest one in a pack (i wouldn't use older editions cause some of them are missing some topics etc). Also don't buy the stat171 book, i bought it and it was the biggest waste of money for me (never opened it).
