How do you guys study consistently for Maths? (other than homework of course)
Also how early in year 11/12 do you guys start studying in advance for Maths?
Hey all,
So I've been slacking off pretty much the whole year (studied only 30 mins-1hr a day) and received a horrendous half yearly report(bottom 20% of thr grade in 4/6 subjects). The teachers at my new school are starting to doubt my academic abilities and I've only started working hard...
Is it just me or has anyone else just completely failed an exam after studying hard for it beforehand?
I've studied for half yearly examinations for weeks and yet I still managed to screw it up :(
I know my content but I just lose so many marks (about 22/60 marks) due to silly errors...
Is it me or does everyone else also just loses motivation for studying once in a while... It's half yearlies in 2 days and I have no motivation. Does studying a lot make you lose motivation?
Hi,
Can someone please estimate an ATAR mark for my mate?
He is doing
Biology - 80/120 (he blew the test because he just switched subjects)
Chemistry - 30/120
Physics - 20/120
Maths Extension - 25/200
Advanced English - 7/450
School rank: roughly 300
For those of you who has transfered from a normal school to a selective school/ are transferring to a selective school this year, how do you feel about the fact that you are entering a school where you don't know anyone... :newburn:
Hi guys, I don't know which of these subjects scale well.. :( Can anyone here help me by telling me which of these subjects don't scale well and what rank I need to get (roughly) for an ATAR of 90-95?
These are my subjects
IPT
Economics
3U Maths
2U English

Psychology
My school is...
I'll be year 11 next year and I feel like I should step up my game for year 12. Can anyone give me some advice on studying? I'm aiming for a 90+ ATAR.
Thanks in advance.
