You are expected to undertake the exam if at all possible. NESA does not sit re-exams. If your IM form is approved, I would still undertake the exam. You mark will be calculated based on either your exam mark OR your moderated internal mark, whichever is HIGHER. So get the form but sit the exam...

I lost a mark in my mod B internal for this; its good to use one or two – as it shows research and initiative – but yeah no more than two and let it be no longer than half a line.
