The formula for anaerobic respiration is; C6H12O6 = 2C3H6O3 + 2ATP
I am confused about the products... isn't 2C3H6O3 the same as Glucose? Since C3H6O3 is half of glucose, 2x C3H6O3 would be glucose.. right?
Hello!
Just a question, for Prelim HSC Bio.
Wikipedia says that Aerobic Respiration produces only 38 ATP however, in Bio in Focus, it states that Aerobic Respiration only produces 36 ATP.
So.... which one should I trust?
"Someone says she has Alzheimer's and that from time to time they put her in a hospital.
Please tell me if there are any techniques in this sentence,
I was thinking one about the point of view at which someone else looks at events.
^Is there a technique that sums that up?
Just want to see where I might be in Yr12.

"Grey Mangroves can tolerate the storage of large amounts of salt in their leaves which are later dropped when the amount of salt gets too high."
Why do only these Mangroves contain salt in their leaves?
How is the Preliminary Year for you guys, how did you find it?
Do teachers often rush through the syllabus because of the 3 terms?
Is there more competition, do people just suddenly drop ranks or gain ranks?
Is it harder than Year 10 (answer is a bit intuitive, but content-wise, are the...
The lines x+2y+9=0 and 2x-y+3=0 intersect at B.
(a) Write down the general equation of a line through B.
(b) Hence find the equation of the line l through B and the origin O.
Cheers.
Just do the last question - (f)
What I wanted to know, was that do I have to prove that root x is rational, and thereby prove a contradiction to find the values of a and b or do I just correspond the pronumerals with their respective values?

Why is it that 2 + {\sqrt {3}} is irrational? [Hint: Begin by saying; Suppose 'x = 2 + {\sqrt {3}}', then continue by subtracting 2 from both sides].
The hint was included in the question...
BTW, {\sqrt {3}} is irrational, I've already proven that.
Which way is better?
Handwritten notes
Or
Typed up notes
I usually do handwritten but most of the notes I've seen on BOS are all typed up...
Which method is more effective?
Thank You.
Which is the best textbook for 3 Unit Maths (Prelim)?
I've heard of Fitzpatrick, Math's in Focus and Cambridge...
Are there any others?
And what would you rank them in order of most efficient to least efficient.
Thx,
Axwe7.
