Just wanna kno how hard the subject is. Someone told me is pure maths O_O? Is that true? And do we realli need to buy the textbook? Coz I checked the Coop textlist and it's so pricey! I mean if we don't even need the textbook like BStats....
P.S.: If anyone have a soft copy of the subject...
UTS Insearch is very costly lol. Go for it if you're willing to pay that much money. If not, then stick with UWS and then if for whatever reason you're still don't like it, transfer to other unis. It doesn't have to be UTS.. there are still other options out there :p
Good luck!
I've been...
Well no one really wanna go to UWS unless they really have to right?
I know some peeps from UWS and they transfer to other unis like UNSW and UTS during second year...
Yeah, welcome to uni bro!
No one even cares if you come to uni or not.
I think @ UTS, attendance is onli counted for "statistical purposes", unlike other unis where 80-90% attendance is compulsory or you got kicked out.
But of course, I'm not telling you to jig your classes or anything :p...
No, don't buy your books til you attend the first lecture.
I wont recommend buying the MPO textbook since you wont be reading much from it (you have to do a separate reading for your tutes) and the onli time the txtbuk wud b helpful is wen u hav 2 write ur essays
I thought the cut-off are usually higher during second rounds and the rest of the rounds?
Should be able to get into the course with the bonus points though right?
Well it is compulsory to attend it if you want to officially enrol yourself.
But if you're still waiting for the other offer.. then just choose the other enrolment session time that suits you better.
You will be given a course outline listing all the core subjects you have to do and all the subjects from different majors during the enrolment session.
Usually with most subjects you will have to finish your cores first, then you will be able to do your subject majors... so it's best to just...
They will give you an outline during the enrolment.
It's something like this for the first year:
Autumn semester: Managing People an Organisations, Economics for Business, Accounting for Business and Marketing Foundations.
Spring semester: Fundamentals of Finance, Business Law and Ethics...
JUst wondering with the summer session fees, is it the same as the normal semesters' one? Because I heard that in USYD they charge higher during summer...
I did ATBD. It's quite ok. But the exam is a killer XD
You have to choose this sub if you're going to major in accounting and finance, though.
My friend did Business Strat. She said it's quite easy to achieve good marks, but for the final exam, they don't really tell you of what's in it...
Alright. CMS is actually 8 effing hours. I dunno how I'm going 2 survive that!
And yeah.. no tutes at all. and it goes on for a month I think. We're only going 2 5 lectures in that period.
SIGH.
What a great chage to my summer ==
I reckon its better since my friends goes der. It seems their subjects are more challenging, and you have to do more core subjects (3 semesters worth of core subs O_O) And the ppl der are more... err... competitive? HIgh standards..they expect more out of you. USYD is quite strict I reckon.
If...
