IMO, you should just go and have that as a break from studying or relieving some stress. Cramming content you don't know will just be stressful and probably psyche you out even more. Night before exam I think you should just read summaries/notes you've written, well that's what I usually do :/
Re: 2009 HSC Business Studies Exam!!! are you ready?
If you rape your syllabus and know it back to front, its gonna do you wonders. I don't like the wording in some of the past HSC papers. So damn ambiguous. And in the exam, you can't exactly bullshit the stuff up. Answers actually have to come...
At home in my study room. At the library there are other HSC students studying in groups. IMO, studying with more than one other friend turns out to be a social session. Which turns out to be an ineffectual waste of precious study time. And the rooms seem to be booked out with uni students/HSC...
You can bring sweets. As long as they don't make a huge sound when unwrapping. And make sure the sweets you bring dont disturb others when you chew it. No chewing gum is permitted  The sweets must also be in a clear wrapper/container and visible from the outside so the examiners can check...
Yes, overstudying does happen. I think it results in yourself being burnt-out and not able to sit down and study anymore. Allow sufficient breaks in between your study. That will help alot. And if you can't focus on one subject within a timespan, diversify your study and do different subjects
Hopefully it does too. I've been told ESL English scales better than Standard. Oh well. All the best people! Unfortunately, the only subject that counts. Like OP said, it's worthwhile doing your best in it
When doing past HSC papers, do you study beforehand, i.e. like read over your notes/textbooks before doing the paper under timed conditions? Or do you just complete one under timed conditions without study at all and see how you go?
Well said :)
Study smart and work your asses off people. At least by the end of your final exam, you won't be feeling crap at the fact you didn't give your best shot at the HSC. After all, who'd want to regret that they didn't put 100% into these exams?
Best wishes & good luck Class of '09!
