my head is spinning. yay or nay to 4U?
because I don't really want to do just 10 units
originally I was going to do ext1 maths, ext1 english, french, chem and bio
but by the end of yr11, i really didn't like chem so i started thinking, maybe do 4U maths and 3U english and bio and french?
do...
well, we still have a year to get used to it...
ATAR sounds foreign in my mouth
...the whole concept is just weird how 99.95 is the new 100.
the conversion table doesnt make sense ><
OMG. HIM. ARGH. :mad1:
i went there in leading up to my selective school test.
what can I say... i hated it there because they rank you at the end of everyweek and I'd come 3rd or 4th last. but i guess it's good in the long run. every one of his students made it to a high ranking selective...
as long as she's got motivation its all good.
i've done french since yr7 and I'm struggling a bit for this half of yr11...i dont knw why. should probably spend more time on it :/
you know what? if she goes on exchange for 3mths or more in yr10 she'd improve vastly.
I don't know how he is in senior years. but i remember going there in yr9 for like two weeks. I didn't like it. he just taught out of the yr10 signpost book.
i dont even remember being taught anything...because i was new I can't be part of the actual class yet so I had to do exercises in another...
wow! a whole thread dedicated to him (:
i'm not sure if i want to keep going to nth shore or not... it takes me an hour to get there by two different trains. not to mention trackworks on sundays is just torture.
what i dislike most is the time it takes to travel there for an hour and a half...
I used to have a job tutoring a yr2 or 3 kid once a week since last year...
but this year I moved houses and its really inconvenient to travel :(
i kinda miss earning money from just sitting around for 2hrs helping with primary school hwk. except the kid was hyperactive most of the time...
i really wanted to go to france... but with my school it was $7000+ for three weeks when you can go for 3mths through those exchange organisations.
there doesn't seem to be any that's around a month. they're all at least two months, which means no france for me until end of yr12... :(
I got an email last thursday. :D
anyone else going to YAA at Reckon, at pyrmont?
..just wondering :P
we had a representative from YAA come speak to us at school around feb/march I'd say
...that's when peopled started registering.
since our school is pretty close to the CBD that's where most...
i've got my 7th grade piano exams VERY soon.
would anyone happen to have a list of all the scales etc. that would be required?
I know what they are...it's just, I want to make sure I've practised everything because there's quite a lot now (for me anyway)
thanks :)
I'm not sure if Open High would be good for me... does it require a lot of self study?
i'm not good at that, too much procrastination... such as now.. ):
where are you guys up to in french? I'm finding it a lot harder than last year, the people that went on exchange last year are so good now ><;;
