My advice is that 1000 + is the way to go for Peace + Section III (20 mark depth-study response) ... Multiple choice shouldn't take you more than 5-8 minutes, plus an additional 5-10 minutes per 5 marker, and then about an hour (or less if you're a quicker writer) on Section II. This leaves...
Hi all,
I'm revising/synthesising my info. on Julius Caesar - I was looking at his early life and stumbled upon a quote from Meir that states: "His mother's relatives were to be of great service to Caesar in his political career."
I'm a little confused - nowhere in my initial notes...
I'm doing 12U for the HSC .. (Adv. English, Ancient History, Legal Studies, SOR2U, Food Tech, Gen. Maths). The workload is intense, and will require a bit more effort than those who are on 10 units, but for me, I felt it was a better option. A lot of the teachers who were teaching me at the time...
What do we think the ext. response will be? I'm thinking it will be really similar to last year's HSC question, broad, a tad confronting, but once you understand it, not be too bad. Thoughts?
HSC papers? or past Trials? Couldn't find ANY past Trials for SOR :/
I'm out for the night ... well, I'll be up at 3 for more study but I can't retain information if I'm tired so I better just go to bed and wake up tomorrow morning a little refreshed - if that's even possible. Good luck all!
I agree. I enjoy learning about the different religions - something that I can't relate to/know nothing about. Islam is quite an interesting religion when it's looked at in detail. Just finishing up Hajj. Time to some Christianity, then probably Judaism tomorrow morning. SO TIRED. Tomorrow will...
Also, I have a feeling it won't be integrated. It's just been that sort of exam period - where I've tried to guess what they'll ask us (with the classic line: "they won't ask us that ..." appearing before every exam), and sure enough, I've been wrong!
Spiritual, your teacher sounds great. What a insightful response that would of been! I'll think about this tomorrow - and may even ask my teacher what she thinks of it before the exam.
Good luck everyone! I'm sure you're all like me and cramming some last minute study in.
Hoping for an...
Frankenstein and Blade Runner (Texts In Time) was good! And I won't talk about Yeats/The Fiftieth Gate because our co-ordinator changed the questions for those sections. As they were collecting our papers I did glance at the alternate questions; Yeats would of been extremely difficult (more...
5 2U exams this week alone. Start next week with another 2U exam on the Monday (6 consecutive school days) and then wait until the last day of the CSSA Trial period for my last exam. Loving life!
Well, history is presented through documents, archival information etc. in The Fiftieth Gate.
We had a similar question in our H&M task a few weeks back. I got a 16/20, which wasn't too bad considering I had no idea what I was writing about. Turns out, I sort of did. You just have to show how...
