addoil signing into HSC'12!
Little intro - 'add oil' is actually a Chinese phrase for "good luck!" or "do your best!", and that's pretty much exactly what I'm hoping each and every one of us in this community will be able to do this upcoming HSC year!
I did an accelerated HSC course meaning I know what my rank is as they gave us a yearly report for our prelim year.
According to student bos, I moved up by one spot...
Should I be concerned / send an inquiry since the numbers don't match or chill about it?
No, all your text genres have to be different, so you can't do two films or two posters or two cartoons etc...
If your teacher recommends you 4 and you're only bothered to do 2, then why not just do 3? Yup, I know. Einstein.
Oh and there's a whole lot more genres you can choose from other than...

Sorry for so many questions, as you can tell (sig) I think it's about time I start thinking of what I want to do for uni! (>.<") I've found that teaching high school (or primary school, can't decide) is most suitable for me but am a little confused since there's so many courses to study for it...
Sorry for reposting but the other subforum section seems very quiet!
1. What does it mean by Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Arts -- is that a double degree, and do you have to major in a particular subject in the Arts degree? If so, what type of options are there to major in?
2. If I...

O_O how do you have time to write 3 extra booklets and THEN read over all your work up to 28?? O-O-O-O-O *amazing* (Y)
Nah, those are just my dot points; in the end i stuck to the provided booklets for the core questions, and a booklet + extra page for each of the optionals
Re: 2011 answers
Q5 (bluetooth): I know it's either B or D (high/low bandwidth) but I chose D (low) because I was thinking about my mobile phone bluetooth and how they don't transmit at high speeds
Q10 (logical organisation of hypermedia): Either A or D (field name / text). Personally I don't...
My answer:

If the question simply asks you to draw it out, and is worth 5 marks, then it really just means that you only need to provide the diagram, but it is expected to be a detailed one with many processes/entities going on in the diagram.
Of course, providing a text explanation wouldn't hurt (they...
In the Sam Davis HSC textbook > Project Management > Designing Solutions and Chapter Review sections, there are many HSC style questions which give you an opportunity to practise these (have answers too)
Created this list for any last minute crammers.
This list provides a general summary of the key areas that the HSC papers assess us on (based on all the past papers 01-10) for the three core topics, and two of the option topics (multimedia and TPS).
Personally, I would recommend this as a...
^ Yup; I'd say B as well because A is not fully regarded as operational feasibility.
Operational feasibility refers to things like, whether the participants support the new system, and if the new system meets the goals and objectives of the organisation
After reading a lot of the posts associated with my question, the answer is very vague as to how school ranking affects ATAR?!?!
My friends are telling me that basically, dumb people at a smart school get scaled higher, whilst the smart people at a dumb school get scaled lower.
Is this true?
