Um, where did I say I made 100k. I said I have a salary in the better part of 100k - i.e, I make over 60k i.e the better part of 100k. To be exact my gross salary is around 70k.
You say 100k is something for qualified students with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience. While I dont make 100k,I...
I graduated UWS in 2006. I've become a marketing manager with a salary in the better half of 100k within the first 3 years of having graduated. I can say nothing bad about UWS, as its got me where I want to go.
What I cant understand is that:
1.People bag out TAFE, or say that TAFE is better...
Re: NSW Government's new Public Transport Fares Structure
Really, when was this? Its annoying becuase I only catch the train 4 days a week (as Mondays I have to be at work earlier and it does not coordinate with the train times), yet still have to pay for 7 days.
You must be one of the neon clad boppers that are now starting to frequent these once alternative festivals.
ffs, I was just making a point that Splendor is extreamly overpriced compared to going to a festival like playground that offers 4 nights of camping, a better ground, better location...
PLayground Weekender shits all over splendor. I stopped going to Splendor becuase it all got to commercial. No dickheads go to Playground, plus its 4 days including camping, and I only paid $120 for early bird tickets.
Splendor is a bit of a rort
Re: NSW Government's new Public Transport Fares Structure
Im happy that my weekly ticket will decrease $7. They should introduce something like London's Oyster card, where you only pay for the trips you take.
No I dont wear thongs out quickly(although I do wear them a lot).
Ive been getting back into running in the last couple of months and have found the pain is not as bad. I must be strengthening my muscles, so hopefully it will eventually go away.
Seems like the concensus of USYD/UNSW people posting here is that they think they are better than UWS students. You are not, no matter what you say. You are a person who made a particular personal choice. As I gave example in my previous post, people choose to go to a particular uni for all...
My friend did arts at UWS for 1st year and only got passes and a 1 or 2 credits. She started going to USYD in 2nd year and was getting more C's and D's.
Yes. I have family who went there and said good things. The course I did sounded good and was heaps flexible (which it was). The on-campus accom was affordable and the campus social life (for on campus residents) was excellent. I was close to family who live in western Sydney. I grew up in...
I lived out of home on campus, but my rent was pretty cheap at $120 a week (UWS). Now they have closed down the campus I was at and built new residences at Parramatta which are quite expensive (probably would not be able to afford living there if I was in the same situation).
You should be...
Agreed.
When I went for my job I have now as well as my first graduate job, requirements of the job as stated in the job ad included "must have marketing/business/communication or related degree"
I had these requirements as a result of doing my marketing/business degree, as well as whatever...
When I went to uni, almost all of my group work had peer assessment sheets, where you marked your fellow group members on their effort in the assignment and the tutor takes it into account when distributing the marks.
Otherwise, let the tutor know
