Hmm if i were you i would check the COURSE CODES and search those course codes on the internet and look at the course outline. I think you find more information that way.
And one big mistake students make: You do not have to arrive at uni at 9am. It is not school anymore. As long as you are on time for tutorials. Plus you do not have to go to lectures(unless they mark the roll).
New students - please try to avoid 9am tutorials - you will be really tired if you are travelling from UNSW. I had this experience and i was pretty tired, therefore affecting my test marks.
So for now, in first year, here is my suggestion;
Semester 1:
ENGG1000
MATH1131(or PHYS1121)
+ 2 commerce courses
Semester 2:
PHYS1121 (or MATH1131)
ENGG1811/COMP1911/COMP1917 (pick one)
+ 2 commerce courses
Summer:
MATH1231 + if you want to pay, a commerce course
Sorry for the double post...
Oh that degree? Yeah i know a few people who are doing the same degree as you. 5.5 years is a long time. If you really want to reduce time, you can study commerce courses in the summer but you have to pay the fees yourself (if you are doing commerce).
Another option is you can do the 2nd part...
hmm i did do Korean last year and it was very interesting. I will do Intermediate Korean next year. Perhaps i could stop by and say hello to you guys when you have to do some sort of script. In Korean, you have to do
-A 5-6 minute conversation in Korean
-3 x quizzes of listening and writing (not...
Ok then, i will have to pull something out of the bag next sem (excuse my cliche). I guess this is why about 30 people drop maths after 2nd year and then by the end, not many people survive..
hey guys! i do a advanced maths/arts course here. So far, im finding math1241 pretty easy and the same could be said for math1141. I know arts courses drag me down but i am having fun with it. By the way, how was math2111 and math2901? Im doing it next year and everyone says its hard...
Well i have to say, im doing math1081 as well and to be honest, sometimes it does get hard...i probably have the same lectures as you. Sometimes i think you just have to think outside the box for some proofs. David said there was not one method of doing proofs, so just try your best. What...
