It's 48 UOC to complete a major. That's what you need. The reference to 42 UOC is that you need to do 42UOC worth of courses in a particular major (i.e. economics, accounting) plus 1 flexible core course (6 UOC) I THINK. Since the course structure has changed heavily this year.

I had a good first day. Although I felt old. Seeing so many 1st years as a 4th year. Quite depressing, really. Can't say the rain helped. Only went to one lecture. Sold some textbooks already. Bought some new ones. Couldn't get concession. Arc stores no longer sell my favourite subject folders...

There are little in the law theatre outside of the law library. Due to the Law Faculty being tightarses with electricity costs. ASB building however has more powerpoints than you could stick a fork in.

They're all shit. Clubs are mostly a waste of time. And I say this as someone with 3 years of experience dealing with them.
