    How did u go in the CSSA trial?

    I kill the essays 19 and 20 out of 20 respectivley but for multiple choice my head gets screwed around and thats how I always stuff up my Economics exam.

    I disagree strongly. I believe it is the depth of which the text is analysed otherwise anything can be pedestrian from Emily Dickinson to Oscar Wilde.

    English allows for the side of humanity to be expressed that maths does not allow! The imagination.........human emotion , feeling , the exploration of a situation through words sort of like painting on canvas. That has to count for something!

    I was tempted to use a short story by Poppy Z Brite as related materail for my trials. For those of you who dont know she is a very controversial writer. Luckily I didn't because some guy failed the creative section for using the F word.

    I'm not doing the postmodernist elective in 3u but it is covered in my history ext course and is mindblowing , I love the entire concept. As for 4u I loved it the fact that I had CREATIVE CARTE BLANCHE was amazing.
