    Why The Big Sleep?

Well you didn't do it properly. I suggest you watch it again. Marlowe: I got some more red points for ya. Ohls: Who is it this time? Marlowe: Eddie Mars. His boys got him. There's more to it than that. He killed Regan. I'll tell ya about it when I see ya. Ohls: Where are you? Marlowe: At...

    Why The Big Sleep?

No I'm pretty sure it was Carmen who killed Reagan because she loathed having her sexual advances rejected by a man. Marlowe covers this up by ringing Bernie Ohls (his police contact) and telling him that Mars killed Reagan. (I assume to keep Vivian safe and the Sternwood's family name...

    A Comparison of Textbooks

Yeah I hate that, not just with maths books either. I need some sort of stand that holds the books open for me cause frequently I am referring to two books at the same time and it's hell keeping them both open. (unless I crease the spine way back - which i don't want, because I plan on selling).

    Heat of combustion

We have to design an experiment to determine the heat of combustion of various fuels (e.g. methanol and another fuel) and carry out the experiment. I have no idea where to start. What would the experiment actually entail?

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

Re: Math textbook with worked answers I'm not really worried about that. I just want to be sure that the questions are challenging (up to standard of something like fitz) with worked answers. Is Excel like Maths in Focus in that it is too easy?

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

Re: Math textbook with worked answers A lot of people say that, but I just don't know where to get it. Also for excel, I haven't heard much about them. Everyone is like "get Cambridge/fitz", not many mention excel. Is this for a reason? Also asking my teacher too many questions annoys...

Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides for Preliminary HSC?

Re: Math textbook with worked answers Nah have that textbook; it's terrible in the sense that it gave me a false sense of security and I thought 3u was much easier than it really was. Book is too easy and examples are sparse. Plus the answers are not worked out. C'mon guys!
