    Little Logs confusion.

    had my 2u trial today. there was a questions like: 2ln(3x^(1/2)) =... I got my final answers as something, and a -3 Now, the -3 satisfied the RHS but for 2ln(3x^(1/2)) It only satisfies the equation if 2 is taken to be the power in side i.e. ln((3x^(1/2))^2) so is -3 a solution?

    Feedback mechanism

    Do we have to show "two loops" - like the one in bio in focus Or can we just show temp rise ---> thermoreceptors detect --> sweat glands etc activated --> returns to normal temp. Are we required to then say, a "negative feedback" occurs? - i.e. body temp drops --> .... confused over this...

    Say a motor is rotating at a constant speed...

    and it has no friction what so ever, just rotating. The net force on it is zero right? makes sense to think that if it wasn't it would keep increasing its speed/velocity getting confused

    What happens If you drop 4U half way through year 12?

    my maths head teacher said that if you do 4U and then drop it, after a few assessments, you get 0 for the assessments done in 2U ? is that true :S so basically if you take 4U, you can't drop it? thanks, need to know quick :S
