tweeters are there to give you extra treble. you'd find that a decent set of 6 inch 2way's in the front doors will be enough... also if you dont already have tweeters its a pain in the arse to set up a good spot for them where they arent hanging out. btw that headdeck would be a tough one to...

afaik you need your own helmet i'm not sure if you can hire them there. open face is fine apparently. also your car must not run below a 12 which requires an ANDRA racing licence. after that is below 11's which requres a rollcage... but i dont think many here will need this :D

i reakon it'd be awesome fun, i'm heading up to WSID with my brother in a couple weeks and we are gonna run eachother. i've been there a few times before. plenty of people go just to race their mates!

in re: to the OP's original question.. get a corolla, you wont get a better car for the money, either an AE92/3 or the later seca model which was mid 90's.. afaik.
