You should tell him, and he can decide what he thinks about it.

    The Greatest Book Ever Written

Well, I'm going to have to say Harper Lee - To Kill A Mockingbird, in a moment of inspired dullness. Also quite like Ken Kesey's One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Both were fantastic movies, too, and the only two books to have left me crying.

    A Clockwork Orange

My ranking: 1. Paths Of Glory - so utterly moving. Words can not express 2. A Clockwork Orange - probably the first movie I saw which really disturbed me. I soon after watched Chinatown and Apocalypse Now which managed to moreso, though it still did its job 3. Barry Lyndon - it's the best...

    What a strange measurement.

    X factor ratings

The most popular music of a time has often not been the best. Take the 70s, for example. The most popular acts of the time included The Captain And Tennille, John Denver, Dawn etc etc. While there were good bubblegum pop acts of this era, such as ABBA or Michael Jackson, I think it is a...

    A Clockwork Orange

I loved 2001, personally, though know some who find it long and boring. I think, excepting Eyes Wide Shut which was mediocre and Lolita which was just good, all of Kubrick's films are at the very least great.

    A Clockwork Orange

I do like A Clockwork Orange quite a bit. It was the first Kubrick movie I'd seen and so is, in many ways, a sentimental favourite. However, Paths Of Glory is possibly better: I don't know if there is a more moving movie ever made. And Barry Lyndon is possibly the most beautiful looking...

    rove is on

In a world where we have, by this stage, seen so much death and violence on the television and in film, I think society's morals are pretty stuffed if someone's body causes such a huge uproar. It's bloody ridiculous. And I hate Rove.

Whats your fav decade of music?

You mention Kiss, Deep Purple and The Eagles but can't think of any 70s music that sucked? Oh, and go listen to some Captain And Tenille or John Denver while you're at it. Besides this sentence being grammatically incorrect it is historically inaccurate, as ACDC are a product of the 70s, not...

    John Howard Or Not?

I don't get it - Costello is the one person in the Liberal Party with anything resembling vision and everyone hates him. Our society's stuffed.

Greatest Sell Out Band Of All Time!

How? He did that in protest of the record company, proceeded to attempt to get out of the record company and start his own independent label and his songs became less popular (keep in note he was probably third in line after Michael Jackson and Madonna at the time). You may think he musically...

    Last Movie...What you think?

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest: 10/10 I'd hate to think of myself as someone who gives out full marks willy-nilly, but I can't rate this one down. And I'm not much of a Jack Nicholson fan either. Extremely moving.

Whats your fav decade of music?

Different to yours, clearly. I realise punk arose in the 70s, I never actually specified when it came along. However, a very loose timeline would say Early 70s: Glam, Mid 70s: Punk, Late 70s/Early 80s: New Wave. Hence my saying that New Wave may be what you meant by Glam Rock...
