    Does it require attention in class? For Yr 10 Commerce I found that I could waste my time on my laptop, then rote learn the syllabus and still achieve high marks in tests.

    Yeah and I did fairly well. However I did poorly for assessments that required an in class report/essay which dragged my overall marks down. From what I've heard, that's how a fair component of Economics is assessed on so I'm slightly worried.

    No problem with that, as long as you're coping well with the Year 10 Maths component.
