    Vice-Chancellor's Leadership Scholarship / ASPIRE

I wasn't expecting VC so it wasn't too much of a disappointment. I'm definitely going to the camp. From reading previous topics, it seems like 30-35 students make it each year. What course are you doing? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

New laws to combat alcohol fuelled violence - Will they be effective or not?

You do realise the main purpose of sentencing is rehabilitation right? Studies have proven that prison does little to nothing in rehabilitating an offender. The whole purpose of punishment is to rehabilitate the offender so that they do not commit these sorts of crimes again. In my opinion, the...

    2013ers doing Commerce?

The Master of Taxation would be paid for by the Tax Office (under their graduate program) and gives you a competitive advantage (rather than studying 2 units in the normal commerce degree). I don't want to be an Accountant per se, i want to work within a legal advisory role Sent from my iPad...

    2013ers doing Commerce?

I chose Commerce because it gives me an opportunity to work within the graduate program at the Tax Office (which is what I want to do). You need a Commerce degree to do a Master of Taxation at Usyd or UNSW (the only places in Sydney that offer such a course via distance education).

Is UWS really as bad as everyone gives it credit for??

I chose UWS for several reasons. 1. Although I got an ATAR of 92.35 (which meant I could've done a Bachelor of Commerce - Professional Accounting at MQ), I chose to do Business/Commerce at UWS because I could also do a law degree if I wanted to (which I did). 2. It's closer to home (30 minutes...

    Maths bridging course

I'm doing the Principles of Economics unit for Business/Law at UWS. I did 2U in Year 11 and got around 70-80%, but i dropped down to General Maths in Year 12 and got 90-95%. Would I need to do a bridging course for the economics unit or will I be fine?? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Searchable database of offers - SMH

So I want to enrol in my course units for UWS. When you go to the handbook and it has the list of units for first year autumn session etc, is that just a guide or do I have to follow that plan? E.g. Can I pick a unit from the spring session to do in the autumn session? I want to do Introduction...
