Ok guys while I agree that the sentence was far too lenient, there are justifications for the decision (some bad and some good). The DPP agreed to downgrade the charge because there wasn't sufficient evidence to prove that the offender had intended to kill. No intent to kill = not guilty of...

    Estimated cut-off

Yeah arts/law is 95.9 so it's below that most likely. However, I've looked at other universities and their equivalent course is between 75.45 and 89.5 so it's a huge gap Hayley :)

    Estimated cut-off

The Bachelor of Laws is a new stand-alone degree at Macquarie University for 2014. I was just wondering what you think the cut off would be? Hayley :)

Should the Labor government ditch the promise of a surplus in 2016-17

The deficit in Greece was the result of public debt whereas Australia's debt is mostly private and therefore, manageable. Ross Gittins gives a lovely insight into it in his articles as well as Tim Dixon in his textbook Hayley :)

    Bond University...Requirements?

I had my interview today, not realising the Bachelor of Laws costs $120,000. Even with a half scholarship, it's $20,000 more than the same course at Macquarie or Central Queensland + 25% interest if you defer the fees via FEE-HELP Looks like Macquarie it is then...I'd rather do a lower ATAR...

    Alignment and scaling question

If I do better in the exam than I do in my assessments e.g 82% and rank 1/7 in assessment but get 85% and rank 1/7 in the exam, what happens to my mark. Does my assessment get scaled up or does my external get scaled down? Hayley :)

    Section II - Short Answer

What did everyone say for that bypass question (1st question)? Cost: Loss of tourism/business due to traffic not passing through town (impact on local shops and stuff for business) Benefit: Fewer emissions causing decreased air pollution resulting in a higher quality of life. Hayley :)

    Section II - Short Answer

Yeah I did the same thing expect talked about high growth in Asian economies in recent years resulting in increased investment in the commodities sector which led to an increase in economic growth instead of a contraction that was forecast in 2008. Hayley :)
