    Yep. There was even a discussion about it on the ext 2 hsc thoughts thread. You can absolutely use past HSC exams from previous syllabi, just make sure the content is related to the new syllabus.

    It should be available somewhere in students online. I very clearly remember that I was able to download my results as full page pdfs when I did min standards in 2020.

    It is created by the very authority that actually performs the scaling of the subjects... so pretty much as accurate as it can get. The limitation comes from students not being able to know what their hsc subject mark will be, and scaling differences between years.

    What subject are you trying to change? Don't worry about the term nearly being over because you are allowed to drop at any point during Year 12, it's only an issue if you have some sort of assignment over the holidays.

    The terms on the LHS are the arguments of (1+3i), (1+5i) and (7+4i) respectively. Taking the products of these gives -130, which has an argument of pi. Using arg(xyz) = arg(x) + arg(y) + arg(z), the result is proven.

    Definitely wrong. Multiplying both sides by (t-1) shows that the LHS would be a (n+1) degree polynomial, while the RHS would be a n degree polynomial. If you sub in 1 the LHS would be (t+1) -> n is the degree of the highest power of t in the LHS.

    Yeah pretty much. I used a calculation to show that the illustrated velocity is nowhere near what the actual orbital velocity would be, and then a sentence to consolidate that the hypothesis is wrong

    So in the exam I considered talking about speed... but the question very specifically asked about the path not the motion. Will I lose a mark for that? Also aren't charge and direction the same linked concept? I discussed that X and Y had to be positively charged and Z negative by RHR.
