There really isn't much to cover in year 11 (I think?) I mean you have Parametrics, Permutations and Combinations and basic differentiation? I dunno, I've forgotten LOL

    Recall that d/dx (e^x) = (x)'e^x = 1(e^x) = e^x So d/dx (e^x + 1) = e^x (1 is obviously a constant and is 0 when differentiated).

    2e^x(e^x+1) :)

Nailed it. Plus you really want to choose papers that are challenging and those that are supposedly the 'best' so you can prepare for all eventualities within the HSC. You obviously wouldn't benefit much doing other trivial papers.

    Polar Molecules

You first observe the structure to see if it is symmetrical or not. Not symmetrical -> Consider the varying electronegativities of atoms in their respective bonds. Proceed to drawing dipole arrows/vectors representing dipole moments from the less electronegative atom to the most...

    Trig proving

    A little rusty eheh but... Sin2x = 2SinxCosx So if you consider: Sin2[(a-b)/2] = 2Sin[(a-b)/2]Cos[(a-b)/2] Therfore: Sin(a-b) = (as above)

I'm feeling pretty great at the moment man. Enjoying my units so far (MBLG calculations may be annoying but the content, despite challenging, is pretty engaging) and most of the lecturers are really good (especially Organic Chemistry ermagherd so much passion). Seeing old friends, meeting new...

Who wants to pull an all nighter with me?

Maths all-nighters aren't so bad imo. Ingest caffeine at life-threatening amounts, take a sub-zero shower before the exam and move around a lot. And always remember: #yolo
