Oh I read that but I'm still not quite sure, what if only a quarter of the cohort did well in the external exam. And the relative difference between them (quarter cohort) and the rest of the class is like 40% both in the raw school assessment and in the external exam? So do you think the quarter...

The hsc assessment (internal) is scaled based on the cohort performance? The ranking and individual's performance is not relevant? Anyone have any idea, please share :wink:

Hi cem, I came 2nd in my ESL class and the difference between me and the 1st rank is only 1%, but the different between me and the 3rd rank is like 25%... In the external exam, assume I got 92 HSC marks, so will my internal assessment be similar to my HSC marks?

So this year the 4U exam is out of 120 or 100? and 3U is still out of 84?

Oh!!! what if both get 100% in 3U and also get the same marks in 4U? Will there be an equal first?
