    Another repeat (I know it's a shame)!

I di Ancient History at Meadowbank, the Environment is very mature and professional, better than learning at High School in my opinion. There are a couple of students who really shouldn't be there, but due to the fact that TAFE is optional unlike school, most of the kids who don't want to learn...

Anyone got 2 exams on one day?

Re: So How Many Ppl Actually Attempted All THREE Sections and Not Just Their 'Best TW Find the source that's been telling people only the best two out of three sections are marked, and annihilate it!

How many pages did you write for each section?

I did nearly 6 booklets, finished 50 minutes early. I was fucking bored! Haha

This forum seems to be dead?

Oh, lol doesn't seem like there'd be much difference, but then again I'm only interested in beginners so I'm probably wrong.

General Thoughts: English Paper 1 (AOS)

I hate the creative stimulus, their always so lame and cheesy. Why did those picture look like they'd been taken out of a health insurance brochure.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but what is the Chinese Heritage course?

    Another repeat (I know it's a shame)!

Hey I plan on repeating to, had some stuff go on this year as well. I'm actually doing it through TAFE, TAFE is a great place to do the HSC, I actually already do one of my HSC subjects there. I've known of heaps of students who have gotten 90+ ATAR's through TAFE. The course always has a few...

Imagine if Papa reappeared in the AOS paper?

"I throw my hands up in the air sometimes, singing Ayooo where'd my boat go!"

who else has to listen to music to get back into the mood of studying?

I don't get those people who say it's a bad thing. Music literally helps me concentrate way better. But then again I live in a really noisy family where music helps drone out all the other shit going on Haha.

Failing so hard, should i repeat or continue since trials are still left?

It's definitely possible if the student shows some dedication, like I said the above 50 to 94 transformation story is Tue, they were my friend who graduated Tafe HSC last year.

Growing hair a long a health issue for doing med...?

Okay I've got a bit of a weird question here. But I'm currently in the process growing my hair out, I'm at the stage where I can nearly pull all of it back into a bun, only the front bits fall out around my face. I was looking to get into Med if not Advanced science next year in Uni, and was...

    buddhism thred

Yes, Thank you, you're completely right. I just wanted to defend my religion. Your special mention of the oppression of minorities in Burma seemed to imply that the act was the will of Buddhism. I just wanted to disconnect the actions of a few who 'claim' to be Buddhist from the true teachings...

    buddhism thred

Yes, Thank you. Buddhism is actually tolerant of homosexuality, with no mention of it any any sacred texts. Actually when asked about Homosexuality, the Dalai Lama acknowledged that two members of the same sex could not conceive a child, but that was no reason to incur against their happiness...

    buddhism thred

Sorry that was a poorly worded statement. What I meant to say was that the few in the Burmese military, or whoever else who discriminates against minorities in Burma may claim to be Buddhist, to be followers of the Bhodisatvya's Mantra's, to understand the sutra's, to be practitioners of Dharma...

I'm sure the Burmese Junta would like to claim that they're Buddhist

Failing so hard, should i repeat or continue since trials are still left?

What would you say to someone who got an ATAR of 0f <50 after their first attempt at HSC, and after deciding to repeat their HSC improved their ATAR to a score of 94? Because that was a true story. Take it from someone who is doing HSC at TAFE; it's not always a waste of time. If a year of your...
