The question i have been wanting to know for ages - Does alignment actually affect your ATAR score?

Oh i forgot about economics Everything else (other than extensions ofcourse) is crap in terms of scaling - must score like over 88 to have a positive alignment (if thats what its called)

General maths isn't that hard to get 80+ Just keep practicing The HSC is based on your 10 best units, so flunking in 2 units will greatly affect your chances for getting an 80+ ATAR, even if you manage to score band 6 in everything else Don't risk it!! Also, never trust ATAR calculators...

That is a little unfair For the SOR1 paper, the amount of room provided for the 6 marker was not enough (this was for my trial) I'm pretty sure you can write down the page, as long as it remains in the grid

Anything past there does not get marked EDIT: Everything must remain in the grid that is around the questions
