    What's everyones thoughts on Legal?

It's somewhat dull thus far. Not very interesting content. I'm hoping it gets better than just definitions of equity, precedents etc.

What does HSC business studies consist of?

The subject itself is fine. I'm all up for mind numbing facts. It's just that I have heard this stuff a million times. If it gets more interesting, I'm quite thrilled.

What does HSC business studies consist of?

Thus far, pretty much the majority of my class just does it to bludge. I am one of the few who actually try but so far it is complete basic stuff as in goods/consumers, types of businesses, legal structure etc. I find this stuff mind numbingly boring considering I did commerce and doing the...

Advanced English right now is the biggest load of shit.

I thought I was weird for liking extension better. In Advanced, I'm expected to relate unrelated texts to Australian themes which is just plain bullshitting. I'm only average at English but learning about how people write stories and the techniques they use is far more interesting.

Advanced English right now is the biggest load of shit.

The module of belonging itself does not sound that bad. I don't know what other schools are doing but relating it Australian identity has got to be the most mind numbing pseudo intellectual exercise ever. I don't know how but they managed to sneak in year ten Australian history into English and...

    Does God exist?

I mean that people create the idea of a supreme being to help them understand what they do not understand. It is far easier to believe in a supreme being than to try to explain something which has not yet been explained eg. start of the universe. It does not make it more likely though.

    Does God exist?

I know my opinion adds basically nothing considering there is already 1063 pages of whatever but I'd still like to say that it seems far more likely that god is a creation of the mind than a benevolent omniscient deity. I have gone fairly deeply into the history and origins of Christianity and...

    First impressions of yr 11

Year 11 thus far is great. No more bloody geography, PASS, health, science and bloody boring Australian history. Although looks like they snuck aboriginals and whatnot into belonging in advanced english which makes English complete crap at the moment. Extension 1 is far better.

    Doing economics, business and legal.

That's what I thought in regards to the two being considered easier. They seem more straight forward but it seems like they're very term heavy and a lot of it you wouldn't just know. Funnily enough, business studies was the most picked subject (not including math). I have no idea what the...

    Doing economics, business and legal.

Thank you for the detailed response. I didn't do them because they overlap, I just did them because that it was I am genuinely interested in so I guess it is all good for me. I just need to lift my game in maths and english which is far less interesting but I can deal with that. And thank you...

    Doing economics, business and legal.

Firstly, I'd like to say that I've been lurking around here for a while and decided to finally register. This is a pretty sweet forum I must say. Anyway, I loved commerce in year 9 and 10. I didn't top it but I didn't really try to be honest although I did manage to get 58/60 on the yearly...
