    It's worth going for the notes and HSC tips. Beyond that, however... the content is basically a rehash of what you've probably learned (or will learn) at school. I went to heaps of them trust me :)

    Well, ranks usually just indicate a stronger cohort. Since internal marks are allocated according to the performance of the cohort as a whole, it could definitely affect your HSC (unless you're first or near first for your subjects).

    Hey coolman :) Don't worry. We still have to wait until closer to enrolment time comes along before we get the UniKey and stuff like that. My friends and I were worried as well, until we realised the predicament is the same throughout haha :)

    Yes. If you qualify for the Educational Access Schemes you get bonus points from the University of Sydney. There's also this scholarship program called E12 Access Scheme where they lower ATAR cut-offs for 39 courses (amongst other benefits).

    I feel like I failed my first assessments (time to rant)

    Lots of people mess their first assessments up... I didn't... (but I really messed-up my second batch of assessments... ouch). The trick to getting good marks in the HSC is to work hard continuously throughout the year (but pace yourself of course) and keep hoping for the best marks but silently...
