Don't pick a subject you plan on dropping. You don't know if you will enjoy your other subjects. So make the best of your choices. Economics is a hard subject, but anyone can succeed in it if they put enough work. Drama is difficult in it's own way. Most of the time it requires a sort of talent.

From what I know being in the top 25% in Advanced is equivelant to that of the top 1% of Standard. The aligning is that bad. If you are good at English then you're expected to do Advanced.

You have to decide for yourself, what you find more interesting and where you will succeed. But generally Modern History would be the better choice out of the three, followed by Legal Studies and Geography. Both in terms of scaling and interest-factor. Not just my opinion, but one that's shared...

It's not really that much of a safety net. Extra 2 units on top of all your subject is a lot of work, and there is no guarantee it will be any good of a back up anyway. Unless it's a subject you really don't want to drop because you like it, then that's a different story I guess.

Lonely by 2NE1 was my favourite song back when I listened to K-pop (and it's one of the very few K-pop songs I still listen to sometimes). No SNSD song comes close to that, although it does have about 4 members who excel at singing more than any 2NE1 member. My opinion, of course.

Not since year 10 actually, no. Was good stuff during 7-10. I often like to go back to 'retro' games I played when I was young. I recently downloaded Quake 3 Arena, which was pretty big back in the day (and still should be, really).
