    Yeah this is what my teacher explained when I asked her, "Why only mark 2/3 of the areas? Isn't that a waste of time". In the exam I just put no effort into short answer and really used the time to do 50 minute creative and essay's :)

    No, that's only for part two of the paper where you have to write three essays. For part one its just you two best units, i'm 95% sure

    Yeah look don't worry about it mate. Barbernator raised a valid point - I'm pretty sure its just your best 2/3 sections and they moderate it or something, but at my school everybody did all three sections just to be safe. Did you complete the sections which you did attempt to a high standard?

    Overall, I think neither a shocking paper nor a brilliant one. I think the 'time' theme was a bit crap. Preferred technology tbh from my trial

    I'm a moderate paced writer and I can get my 860 word creative out in 28 minutes, you should be able to get yours out in the low 20s, Alkanes.

    I don't think i'm going to use reading time to read the sources ... I just forget them anyway. More likely planning my essay and creative in my head
