Oh yes yes, the area from x=0 to x=4 under the parabola minus the area of the triangle is the smartest way to do it.- LennonTheLemon

The parabola would be on top. If you can imagine this, a tangent on a parabola can't be on top otherwise it would cross through two points on the parabola and not be a tangent.- LennonTheLemon
