Think about it. There will be a huge difference between the kid that comes first in James Ruse for Chemistry, and the kid that comes first in your school for Chemistry, USUALLY, BUT NOT ALWAYS. Based on that, marks are scaled up or down. That's why it's preferable to be at or very close to top...

Think and reflect. Why do you want that 99 atar? Don't do it because of the pressure of people around you or the fact that you 'have to'. Do it to get into your course. Even 95 - 96 would suffice.

If you want to be an artist, do an Arts degree
